"Lionel is your go-to guy in Madagascar. We used his services last November 2019. Madagascar was a very hard country to plan. This coming from someone who has visited 53 countries and is a big-time DIYer when planning trips. I know how to plan them! But due to logistics and lack of infrastructure in the country, it was the most difficult country to plan...that is, until I met Lionel online. From Day One, he impressed me with his timeliness in his responses. I found this to be very abnormal in talking to anyone in Madagascar. Normally, I waited days upon end before hearing back, just due to the lack of people that have active cell phone service. However, as I said, Lionel was different from the start. Not only was he quick to respond, but he was thorough, trusting, knowledgeable, and gave us a very fair deal. My boyfriend and I so enjoyed our conversations with Lionel. And every recommendation he had for us was spot-on perfect. The night before he picked us up at our hotel, our bag got lost in Madagascar. Well, before we headed to Andasibe, Lionel was so kind to take us around and helped us buy new malaria pills and other things we needed to replace immediately...and got us a fair deal for those, as well. So thankful. Finally, I should mention his safe driving and nice, clean, reliable car. My boyfriend and I are used to renting cars and exploring countries on our own; however, doing this type exploring in Madagascar is not recommended. Most of the roads are just.....well, awful. However, you will feel so safe with Lionel. He is in control. You will have the most incredible experiences of your life in this unique country. |
